Now, right off the bat let me say, I've searched almost all of the other threads on here about lighting and lighting replacement and there seems to be some sort of confusion as to what's what, so I'm starting this thread to hopefully clarify things a bit.

I've looked at the Sylvania light bulb replacement guide and it quotes the interior bulbs as:

Map light
DE3175
DE3175LL Long Life Upgrade: Up to twice the life of the standard lamp
7443LL Long Life Upgrade: Up to twice the life of the standard lamp

Dome light
DE3175
DE3175LL Long Life Upgrade: Up to twice the life of the standard lamp
7443LL Long Life Upgrade: Up to twice the life of the standard lamp

Step/Courtesy light
DE3022

Trunk/Cargo area

Many people just quote this on the forums, but some have said that all the interior bulbs are R194 type LED's while others say that just the courtesy lights are R194 LED's and some just say that the bulbs are what's shown above, in other words, the festoon type DE3175 and DE3022 bulbs. Can someone who knows for sure what type of bulbs these are please clarify?

Also, unless I'm missing something, I don't see any dome lights in my car. I see the two clickable map lights between the sun visors and there are two lights in the back, one on each side of the ceiling. Are these lights the map lights and the front lights the dome lights? Excuse my ignorance, but its not exactly clear what's what. I'm used to a traditional dome light being in the center of the ceiling.

All of the dome lights in the car are 194 bulbs. This includes the 2 center map lights, the driver and passenger side doorlights, as well as the 2 dome lights in the rear seats. The only festoon bulbs are located in the vanity mirrors.

Yea dude, I searched a lot. The problem was people having different answers for everything ya know. I guess I didn't hit all the forums though, there are a lot. Glad you guys can help me out though. Thanks!
