This thread deserves to be answered. There is misleading information in the AWD common info thread stating that aftermarket options for upper control arms are available for the X but there are none listed... Nobody has answered the question if you can bolt up RWD aftermarket upper control arms onto an AWD G. I cannot be the guinea pig this time around like I usually am...
I tried it!!
So... The awd g comes 1" higher than the rwd. The camber arms reflect that.
Running rwd a arms kicks the camber positive 1 degree or so on an x.
It brought my camber back into spec even though I was lowered. Saved me a bunch of $

I have a RWD and recently picked up an AWD Upper control arms, I'm not lowered although I have a massive toe in on the passenger's side that has been a pain. I suspect this will make matters worse

I also have an '05 G35x AWD, Bro. I just got aftermarket camber adjustable UCA's which I assume for actually for RWD models. Your insight is giving me hope! I'l also going to lower the car by one inch because I have coilovers as well. Thanks for this info!!!!
