My 08 G35 Wrecked!!

Wifey was driving the kids to school this morning and a girl clipped the back of the car as my wife tried to get to the median. Wife didn't see her, but it was still darkish outside and the girl had a black car with no lights on. The girl never saw the G either.

Happily, the G35 took the hit for the family and did its job in keeping them safe. Wife and child on drivers side shook up, but seem ok. The car that hit them was an 2010 Mazda 3. It looked in very good shape!? I think it was in the angle she hit the G, it created lots of damage.

Wife told me to wipe the blood off her arm and to take her to work. She is a toughie.

Onto the pics!

No..buddy....that ain't gonna buff out with a wet nap!!

Wow, sorry to here about the damage but the family is safe. That is what matter most. Get your wife and family checked out. Those air bags can put a beating on you and you will not realize it until 24 hours later. I seen people receive damage from the air bag as oppose to the crash itself! IMO

Yeah..the airbag actually created a bit of a laceration on my wife's arm around the tricep area...and scared the heck out of my 7 yr old. I think they will be sore tomorrow!

I'm curious too if it will be totaled. I just bought this car out of the lease 2 weeks ago of course....but that is just the way things go sometimes.

It runs fine, but obviously can't drive since it is resting on the rear tire.

I'll keep ya posted on what they do with it.

glad to hear everyone is ok and amazed to see the G take the hit so good by keeping the interior and people inside safe with all those airbags.

Hopefully everything works out for you asap, at least everyone you love is ok!

Glad to see everyone is ok. Looks like the bags really did their job protecting your family from the impact. GL w/ everything with insurance and all. Hopefully everything will be processed smoothly.
