Hi.
I just purchased 2007 G35x with navigation system.
I think that it comes with HDD base navigation, so how do I update the map?
Also I have in dash 6 disk changer, but I found 6 disk cd changer in trunk top mounted. I don't know what's that for.
Can anyone tell me?

if you have Navi then you dont have a 6 disk up front. the changer in the rear is for listenting to music... if you press the disk/aux button on your navi it will cycle through the selections...

to update the nav you have to take it to the dealer.

 

^+1 but if you actually can insert and play 6 discs in your in dash system then someone probably for some odd reason added the cd changer in the trunk.

 

The 07 G35X with Navi included a Single Disc CD player in the dash and a 6-Disc changer in the trunk.
Updating your Navi is done through the dealership. $200- for the update and a fee for installing the update.

Although I do have about 9GB HDD space, can I copy mp3 files? or is it can only store regular cd to HDD?

 

You cannot rip MP3's to the drive. YOu can play them on the Compact Flash drive but you cannot take a disc full of MP3's and rip them into the HDD.
