Cheap battery replacement for key fob (07 G35)

I purchased the replacement battery through a seller on Amazon. The price was $2.09 and free shipping, though currently it is $2.79 plus free shipping for 5 batteries. When the dealer replaced the battery it was $5. This is a great deal and you can have extra for the future.

Good find, Thank you. Won't hurt to have a few extra batteries around the house considering I have done the key lock mod.

Remember the batteries have a shelf life. The bad thing about buying online is that you can't tell how long they have been sitting in stock. I'm sure the sellers buy in bulk to get the price down. Still a good find though.

In my opinion, if you can pay $40-$50 on a tank of premium gas (SoCal prices), you can spare $6 for a package of 2 Energizer batteries from Best Buy.

that price you pay would be the equivalent to 0.72/L here. We don't pay that little for the lower grade gas.

For v-power here it cost me $1.10 to 1.20/L.

there is roughly 4 gallons to a Litre.....you do the math....You guys in the US have CHEAP gas!

Is it hard to replace the battery yourself? Is there any instructions anywhere on how to open the FOB?

It's very easy. Look in the owners manual - Section 8, it's all there.

Ahh come on . . . you know nobody on here has (or knows how to use) one of those old fashioned hard-copy things.

I hear ya.
I guess I'm old fashioned.
I always look through it from cover to cover. Even when I switched from the 07 G to the 11 G. How sad is that. But hey, there are some differences.

Even OEM wheel offsets and light bulb replacement #'s are in the manual. How many times have those questions been asked here over the years?
