Today I just realized my live traffic was enabled on my navi, which I haven't seen since the 1st few months of my G's purchase. Was wondering if anyone else is getting this too? Hopefully it stays on there till I own the car, but that just wishful thinking..

While I was driving to work I realized the traffic icon in the nav screen.

I just noticed this on mine too! I've never seen a trial for the service before, at least not in my car.

 

yup i got it too. i gotta try it out on the way home. i wonder what happened that we got it? but great find anyway.

 

is the traffic information good/useful?

i have it on my car since i bought it and it is not good at all. maybe they have improved it are are offering a trial to make people make the switch.

 

Also noticed a few added XM/sirus channels as well, maybe a trial version?

I got it too... I was wondering if I was due for a renew and maybe they charged me for it this year.
I canceled it for last year... it was useless most of the time.

got a letter in the mail for free XM for 2 weeks starting today. So enjoy the free 2 weeks and also in the letter i can renew for 5 months for $20 bucks + free activation

 

i was wondering what that green "traffic" sign was on my nav.... haven't checked XM yet tho. ...pretty cool!

 

That's funny I don't get all the XM channels? Just 50's, Disney, and 5 others ones I can't think of.
$20 for 5 months might be worth it if it includes all the channels.

 

Got the traffic today, too. I don't subscribe to anything, so it must be a trial.

 

i got it as well...

pretty neat but it only monitors the freeways in omaha, which there are two of, so not very useful to me.
