Thumbs up Thoughts on rims and all seasons

So, after selling the rims and tires from my coupe, i have money id like to spend on new rims and tires for the 07 g35x. My issue is, does anyone else feel 18x8 rims with 225/50/18s would look... silly? Thats a lot of meat, I can't recall the last time ive seen aftermarket rims with 50s.

Id like practicality of all seasons and not low profiles, and also figure its money I considered dead and gone, but if it will buy me another set of rims/tires, why not...

Not sure, any thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks,
Alex

I had 225/50's on my FX35 18x8's as my winter tire combo. They didn't look too bad, actually. I don't have any real good pictures, though. They aren't 'aftermarket' wheels though but I don't think that should really make too much of a difference in how they look.

The 8" width keeps the 225's from looking buldged and helps keep that 50 profile a little more subtle.
