Front Chin + Eibach Springs on a G37x?
Hey guys! I have a 09 G37xS and want to put some Eibach Springs on it. I have heard many people have put the sedan springs on the X with basically no problems.
My main concern is that I have a front chin and am worried that I will be rubbing all the time.
Does anyone have Eibach Springs + a Front chin?
Also, will I experience camber problems with the Eibachs on a X?
any help would be great.
Thanks

I do, front chin + eibach prokit.
Camber problems: the rear is recommended to get a camber kit, as there is not enough adjustment on the stock camber. I got one put on, eibach (or spc-same thing). If you're not too worried about your tires, then you won't need one, it's not that bad.
Rubbing: If you mean your tires, that's all based on your size/offsets/camber. No problems with my 19's at all.
Scraping: Aeson explained it well. You have 6+ inches to the bottom of the lip. If you scrape anything, it would be the black plastic under carriage cover. This will sit lower on an X, but still plenty clearance if you know how to drive lowered (45 degree approach angle to speed bumps, driveway entrances, etc).
Winter: If you live in an area where plowing is not regularly done, you may have issues. I'm in toronto and even on blizzards, we rarely see more than a couple inches of snow on the road due to regular plowing.

The camber will do little additional wear to your tires if you get everything else buttoned up where it should be... especially toe. My tires are fine with no kits and I do 100 miles every single day... and my springs have been in since last fall. No issues.
Dont worry about hitting the lip on anything other than those cement parking spot markers. Otherwise, your belly will hit things way before the lip does. I have not hit the lip on anything yet, but I have scraped bottom a few times.
(My kid's doctor's office has a sh!tty entrance)
