Putting 18x8.5 wheels on front on '07 G35

I have a 2007 G35 sedan with staggered wheels (18x7.5 fronts, 18x8.5 rear). Different wheel sizes makes it harder to find tires and can't be rotated. I'm wondering if I can install 18x8.5 wheels on the front. Would there be any alignment or odometer issues? Any other issues that I should be concerned about? Thanks!

Is it that simple? No issues with steering or fit?

as long as you're not running 18x10. it wouldnt bother anything.
other cars come with same size all around... Common sense.

I called a dealer to ask about this. Apparently there is a screw on the front hub that prevents the the rear stock rims (18x8.5) from being installed, but he mentioned that the screw can be removed. This is to prevent people from accidentally rotating the wheels. Also, the 18x8.5 wheels have a low offset so there is a chance that the inner edges of the rim could rub against parts in the area. Has anybody ever done this before?

With 18x8.5 you'd have to worry about rubbing if you're offsets were <20 and I doubt the wheels are that aggressive

19x8.5 +35 here. No rubbing or any kind of issues at all. That "screw" is very easy to take off. If you can unscrew your gas cap, you can take off that screw.
