Look @ the new Buick commercials, they talk about how their car is German engineered and tested. Even they don't believe in American made cars.

Do their American car use American gas? Don't think so.. how un-patriotic of them.

I just checked, my Hanes boxers are made in China too.. how un-patriotic of me..

I found that funny as well.

As a few others have said, domestic vehicles have come a long way in the last several years. They haven't caught back up with some of the Japanese makes, but have at least closed the gap some. Still, from my experience and those close to me, most Japanese cars are built with better materials, quality control, better designs, etc. Also, a large percentage Japanese car companies have plants located here, also as others have said. This, coupled with the fact that many "domestic" vehicles are made in Canada and Mexico should also help your argument.

The problem is, using logic with some of these "buy domestic" blow-hards is futile. If, or more likely when logic and reasoning fail, just say f@%k 'em, and be done with it, knowing you have a superior vehicle.

I really don't care what people say. If I had a friend like that would be over. Would not be my friend. Poking around and joking about is fun but if they are serious than I would not want any part of it.

Suggest to get better friends.

BTW most American/Canadian built car is a Toyota Corolla and the Rav 4. They using the most parts from here and built here in North America. Go figure.

Isn't 90% of Ford build in Mexico? I see stupid stickers on some Fords and says "Out of job yet? Still buying foreign?"

You helping as many people as buying Ford. Since only business Ford has here is dealership same as Infiniti. They all come from another country.

i don't get it when Americans(whites especially) blame Japan or China, etc. for taking their jobs when in reality american made products sucks! look at the design of MOST american cars. they are lame! you compare the reliability of Japanese and US made. Maybe if Amercians stop crying ****s about this and that, and actually put some pride in improving their stuff, more jobs will be created here!
