The first impression of my new steering wheel was that it was larger than the one they took out. They tried to convince me it was all in my head.

For what it's worth, I have no doubt that my new steering wheel is exactly the same size as the original one....

I had the same conclusions with the last loaner I had. I have a Sport and whenever I drive a non-sport it just feels really plain, boring, and frankly cheap...

Yes! The loaner didn't have such essentials as Sport seats, shifter paddles, Studio on Wheels stereo, Bluetooth, Homelink, heated seats, acceleration 'swell', just to name a few. I thought I would really want the 7 speed, but at 70 mph, a difference of 400 rpms just doesn't make up for the slight jerks and clunks I experienced. I'm liking my car even better now!

She really was like a complicated, high-maintenance girlfriend that you kinda enjoy because she's edgy and different, but she also kinda drives you crazy. After thousands of dollars in service expenses (and I do mean thousands), I longed to return to the reliability of the Japanese autos I'd grown up with. For me, the G35S was exactly the right choice.
How much exactly did you spend out of pocket on repairs for the Audi or it was covered by warranty?

It's interesting to hear about the interior on your 2007. The steering wheel on my 05 is fine and it's 6 year old now but I did scratch it myself once or twice but not visible now. And the driver door arm rest is fine also and it's 6 year old as well. The dash is fine too and it's actually one of my favorite parts of my car.
