Battery Disconnected / MPG
After 200 miles of driving this issue never got any better.
I went to the dealership and had them flash my ECU under TSB # ITB11-018.
Took about an hour and a few laps for the tech to get it right but it fixed my issue.
No dirty throttle bodies, no dorty fuel or MAF sensor, purely electrical.
I would recommend reaching out to your dealer and have them do the same.
$60 bucks for them to flash it, problem resolved!

First off, glad you got it fixed Michael.
Next, I am curious about few things; Did you ever get the ecu reset to work for you? If you did, are you saying it didn't solve your problem? And lastly, I can't help wondering how you got an hour of a service tech's time, from a dealership no less, for a mere 60 bucks?

So I did the ECU reset, the idle air position reset, the pedal release reset, and the throttle body reset as well. Drove for a week putting on a lot of miles and nothing changed.
Threw in a fresh tank of gas with no change, nothing was getting better or worse.
And the quote from the dealership went like this:
I called Roseville Infiniti and told him about the hesitation issue. He said he had never heard of that before. I asked him if there was any ECU update and he said no and told me it would be $140 for his tech to diagnose the problem and I may want to just drive it around for a few weeks before coming in. So about an hour later I called him back and mentioned this TSB and he looked it up, said, oh, yeah that sounds like your issue. Bring it in and we should be able to take care of this. I asked how much, he said $60 dollars.
So I waited at the dealership for a little over an hour. I guess maybe they only had my car assigned to a tech for a half hour, hence the almost halved rate of charge. But I don't know, he said his tech hooked the ODB up to a laptop and drove around, flashed the ECU from JK61A to JK61E, drove it around some more and verified issue is resolved.
Then they washed it

I couldn't tell you if it is a reduced rated because of the TSB or what but I have no complaints. I am a first time visitor to that Infiniti dealership so it's not like I was getting a hook up for being a known customer. All I can say is the issue is gone and I will definitely being going back to them for future issues that I cannot fix.

Here's a link to the ITB you mentioned : http://x.infinitihelp.com/forum/loca...1352&catid=183
One thing that I noticed in the documentation is that they stress hooking up a battery tender to the battery and making sure every electrical draw is turned off during the ECU reflash process. I really think that battery voltage plays a big role in some of the difficulties people report in the numerous threads about about ECU resets, throttle position relearns, etc.. I looked back to find your original post about the issues you were having and noticed to made a post about having a BullyDog ECU piggyback. I wonder how or if that had anything to do with your situation.

Also, I wonder how the dealer viewed your having an aftermarket piggyback installed on the system?
This definitely is a good ITB to keep in mind for folks in the future with similar issues. I guess I just don't get how the older version of code "goes bad" all the sudden and requires a reflash to a newer revision.
Sounds like you found a good dealership there; congrats!

Even after this happened I pulled the map from the car using the "return to stock" feature on there and did the ECU reset again and nothing changed even after a hundred miles or so.
I did not mention the PowerPup to the dealer, they never said anything to me, but this was a mod put on by the previous owner. I will most likely not mess with it again but as I said, had no issue until immediately after i reconnected the battery but ONLY once the car warmed up, first 15 minutes of driving or so was super smooth.
ECU flash was definitely the key for me. Other say TB cleaning, etc... and that may be the case but I feel like that would be an issue you would gradually notice. Mine was turn car on, drove 15 minutes, hesitation showed up. Never had it before, only after. Infiniti handled this perfectly IMO, and with the ECU reflash the car feels much smoother but I did not lose the touchy throttle that I like so much so I guess I lucked out!
