that would defeat the whole purpose of the box i built. i built it the way i did so it would be centered on the pass-thru and i could open that to see the sub from the cabin. sliding the box to the left or right wouldnt affect the bass anyways, since subs are non-directional. and all my stuff is alpine.
So, after several experiments with the positioning, I moved it to the place near the rear taillight so it would focus another taillight and it gave me MUCH more better bass (more realistic and FAT ).
I beleive we both have sedans with the same inner acoustic scene, so it might help you!

exhaust
so i wasnt planning on doing exhaust this soon but ARK Performance has theirs on sale for $979 during the holidays so i started listening to exhausts and am deciding between two
ARK or borla
i like the borla because it creates a lower tone and i like the ARK because it keeps the infiniti tone. it seems to me all the other exhausts i listened to were a bit higher pitched. am i wrong in this assessment? is there another low tone exhaust yall think i should look at?
if borla or another system is the better exhaust i will just wait until after my wheel purchase to do this, but if ARK is the best decision i should grab it now at the discount. is that a large enough discount to bump up my exhaust purchase to now? here is their sale page

Well its honestly personal preference bud.
From my experience, the ark exhaust puts out a much bolder vq tone. and IMO thats what its all about.
with borla a throaty rumble. I was actually in the market for both of these. Borla is actually a clamp down exhaust
other than the traditional bolt on. As far as horsepower gains ( CMIIW) a true dual would put out the most power ,
other than the factory style where it is sharing one muffler..
I chose the ark for my g coupe. No regrets here.
Good luck!

i do plan to do Berk HFC after my intake. do you think adding the berk to the ARK would make their tone a little louder and lower? and do you think it is actually a noticeable difference in gains doing one or the other?

just because im working slow on a college student budget doesnt mean you have to hate. i understand the only REAL mod i have on the car is my drop springs, but i still have over 1k of my hard earned money into this car not to mention doing everything myself. since as a driver you spend the most time in the cabin, i decided to make myself comfortable on the inside [audio system, clean radar mount, iphone solution, video capabilities, white LEDs] before spending my money on performance and appearance.
i have no doubt that in time i will have a cleanly moded G that most can appreciate [even you!], so there is no reason to put down the progress i have made so far, albeit little progress.
