Of course the tsx is gonna feel more "peppy". Look at it's gearing.

For those just going skipping to the last page of this thread, the OP is back in a G 18 months after his first post...

Thanks for that. I edited my original post as well. Just thought it would be humorous to dig this thread up!

Ouch, that's an expensive price to pay, trading two cars in just to end up going back to the same car later. I wish I had as much money as you do!

Anyways, the new G is set to be revealed next year in the Spring, so I would have waited to see the new models first.

I have to disagree...they have made some great upgrades in the 5 years between my 2007 and this 2012. The new 2014 is supposed to start hitting lots late next summer/early fall. Exactly why I will only be in this for 18 months if not less. Infiniti is offering some crazy aggressive 18 month leases and will probably do a pull ahead around 14 months into the lease to get people into the 14's.

Lesson learned though...not going back to FWD.

This is hilarious. Notice my post on the first page stating that I went to a 4 cylinder as well. Well, I traded my G35 in for an Evo. Now I sold that car, and I'm also back into a G35.

So we essentially did the same thing. Within the same time frame.

Isn't EVO a faster car with better handling than a G? The interior is just not as refined, that's all.

How did you like it? I wanted to try out the EVO, but I wanted the refined interior also. I would think a TSX is a downgrade to the G, but an EVO is not.

I had an evo 8. I didn't consider it an upgrade or downgrade. It simply did some things better, which was speed and handling. You'd be hard pressed to get a G35 to perform close to an Evo.

But I had enough of it, plus I never used the power of the Evo. (2.3 stroker + 30r turbo, so far from stock)

I enjoyed the car though. I'd love to own both a G35 and an evo. When I got the Evo, I was missing the G35, hence why I sold the evo and went back to a G35. I love the G.

But now I find myself missing the Evo. It's a fun car. I just think at this point, I'm content with cruising slow in a luxury car. I'll get another Evo when I have the funds to build another speedy car.
