Intake???

Hey guys, I want too know which intake I should consider installing on my 07' G35 sedan. I have read previous threads regarding the intakes, but my criteria is not to do any alterations to the other surrounding parts of the engine or components. All I want is a NICE intake that is efficient and fits in WITHOUT ANY HASSLE.

Also, can you guys tell me some of the benefits there are installing an after market exhaust?

1) Which intake is the easiest to install? (Brand, Model, Price)
- without any modifications?

2) Benefits of installing and Intake?

3) Personal Experience?!?

^whs, there are more than enough detailed reviews on almost all possible intakes for this car and to start expressing them again will be useless, just search for stillen 3g, r2c, takeda, injen...

Everyone will have their own opinions on which is best, usually because it's the one they have.

That said, i have the Injen SRI and enjoy having it. I don't think power has been gained, but it sounds nice.

Install is easy and straightforward, and i know the filters work based on the information that comes with my UOA reports.

I've got some info on it here, with links to a couple of videos.

I have an R2C SRI and it sounds/looks amazing.

i got it for the same reason as you its easy to install and you dont have to worry about anything such as hydro locking or oiling the filters.

no need to take the bumper off or anything thing took me like 30mins to install.

but then again this is only my opinion...

Hey Chinkychoy, appreciate the feedback. 1 other thing, it was simply removing the old one and replacing it with the, R2C SRI. RIGHT?!?

How much was it?!?

If you want easy, DO NOT GET A COLD AIR! I have had 3 short rams that I have dyno'd and posted. I have the K&N intake and love it! Benefits: sounds great and looks great.

yeah it was super simple it was like a 45min install and i am a complete noob. and yes the R2C is a SRI.

the price i cant remember exactly but it cost more than the injen or takeda cause its really high quality stuff the heat shields and filters are top notch!

Where did you post and did you do an OEM baseline vs K&N Intake dyno?
