Problems with the A/C

Sorry if this is not the correct if so please move.

Anyways, I noticed that the A/C doesn't blow air anymore. All buttons and functions work completely find however, the air doesn't blow. I can barely feel it if I press my hand on the vent. The other thing is that sometimes I'll be driving in the freeway and the a/c will start working again. So basically this ****er wants to work when it wants to.

Your thoughts?

Are you sure you have the air blowing through the top vents and not at the windshield or feet?

Still not that hot in my area but the other day I turned it on for the hell of it and noticed the probolem. No I made sure I checked that the vents fron the dash board were set to blow but nothing. I want to take it to the dealership but wanted to get some input from here before doing that.

Basically somethings wrong with your deck. Whether it's ashore or something. Mine actually has that problem. On my 03. But it's not just the AC. it's the deck in general. The radio won't power on either when that happens. Can't control anything except the gps. I have an 03 sedan. This is a normal problem for the G. my cd player is also stuck. Theyre replacing my deck today actually.

It might just be your fan. check the fuses.

If you feel it start blowing on the freeway its probably just outside air coming through due to higher speeds

Hey I know this thread was opened last year, I am having the same problems with my 07 sedan. Did you take your car to the dealer, what was the issue?, how were they able to fix you A/C problem. I appreciate any help.

Did you guys ever check and/or replace the cabin filter. If it's extremely dirty it would affect the air flow.

I was having a similar issue... took it to the dealer and they replaced the relay to the blower motor. Now the car's a/c and heat comes on right away.

this thread helped me out
