Anyone install any of the navi/video bypass module from these two brands? I just purchased Elite extended warranty that last until 120k miles so I need to avoid cutting wires.

I am about to buy one from Beat-Sonic, it is 1/3 cheaper than PS, although the switch isn't as good looking, but you get what you paid for.

Any feedback?

I'm new here but why are bypass modules not allowed?

 

We are not allowed to talk about bypassing at all. I did the bypass as well, but i didn't use a module :P

 

It is not allowed cause its not legal in many states since ppl use this mod for wrong reasons, like playing a video while driving and its within the drivers view which makes it illegal.

 

My bad if these type of modules is not allowed for discussion in this forum.

Just wondering why exhaust system can be discussed if some states considered illegal for installing it. Or talking about tint would be illegal since CA does not allow tinting front windows. Just curious, I am still figuring out the whole forum rule.

 

Exhaust doesn't get you into an accident and tint laws vary everywhere. The bypass can be a big distraction as it is in your line of sight.

 

^whs, believe me ppl really abuse such mods just to look cool or take on such mods cause they think they can handle the distraction until something bad happens. I have seen a couple acura(pre unlocked from factory) and lexus owners using nav or video while driving and almost running off the road in a curve while entering data or something, before pulling the car back in.
