Clunk 2nd to 3rd gear shift when in manual mode
Guys,
I've been reading some other threads that says this is normal, but mine clunks really hard on my 08 sedan journey, even when i'm not pushing it that hard (like 4k rpm). The other shifts are very normal and smooth. You guys sure this is normal, or should i have it checked out?
Also, do those black betty grounding wires really help out that much?

Hey, I have exactly the same problem but could not figure out why.
2nd to 3rd gear in DS mode => loud clunk sound. All other gears smooth and no sound.
What's dealer's explanation on this? Nobody seems to worry too much, but it just doesn't sound right to me.
bionicg35 => what's BB grounding kit?

I am mostly know for my V35 kits but my V36 kit is just as effective. Check out one of my recent customer's reviews:

I have the Black Betty set and I've been very happy with their results.

With that being said, a grounding kit will not do much for the hard shift into 3rd.
The only fix is to get to know the car a bit. Once you get a feel for when and how it occurs, it's fairly avoidable.
