I have the same steering peeling problem with my 2008 g37. I asked my dealer and they did not cover it under the warranty!! And they said that i have to replace who steering wheel for the fix!. for the door handles, they are like 30-40$ simple installation.

Interesting
If you go to this translated version of a Russian Auto Parts suplier, it states "LIDSTEERING" Meaning I guess Steering lid/trim?

They also have a bunch of other LIDSTEERING entries probably for different colors. Who wants to be the first to order from a russian website?

Do you have a write up or link for the door pull install? I would also want to get the entire console replaced on the drivers side. For some odd reason the rear window switches have the "A"s rubbed completely off.

I do not have any write up or anything, but if you are talking about the aluminum brush thing, it just pops out with a flat screw driver.

And yes, when I had my steering wheel changed, they never did an alignment and the wheel centered perfectly.

That's total BS. The only way you would need a new alignment is if they screw up on reinstalling the new one. They are trying to leave themselves some room for sloppy work. All they have to do is clock it about the splines just right and it should go back on in the exact position of the old one. The one caveat would be if there are manufacturing differences between the new wheel and the old one, such as: its internal grooved collar is clocked to a different position, which consequently would rotate the wheel about the splined steering shaft differently. I doubt that is the case though; they're most likely made by robots to very close tolerances to avoid that very issue.
