Car is donezo...off on a tow truck to the dealers...
Assuming your new motor solves all the vibration problems (that were your initial complaints) and all else is good I think 4 weeks w/a loaner to erase 4 yrs worth of miles and basically starting over w/ a fresh motor might have been worth it. Sure the whole ordeal sucks when you're in the middle of it, but now starting fresh you should have a pretty good piece of mind (as long as you find another service dept for future issues).
So glad to hear this is coming to an end, and you should have an Infiniti that will last more total miles than most of ours now, lol.
Keep us posted on how its' running, and take it easy the first 1k on your NEW motor

Hopefully it will last me a while..still don't think it was cause of vibrations of the wheel ect but we will see
Still don't trust the car after this whole ordeal

Well the car should be running tomorrow by noon they said..but they want to put some miles on it first to make sure everything is ok
^ no the odo by law stays the same i think cause all other components, tranny suspension electronics etc are that many miles old, they are not allowed to touch the odo unless they are installing a new odo meter where they need to set it to original miles.
Only you really know how the car felt when it was gong through your vibration issues, a problem w/ the bottom end of the motor could surely transmit vibrations to the driver. If the car is running smooth when you get it back you really shouldn't have a reason to feel like the G will leave you in the lurch. As long as the previous owner didn't abuse the car you should have a sound ride for a whole lot of miles. At any rate good luck and let us know how your "new" G is running.
