Can some of you guys that have already got the Akebono kit chime in here for me. I just go tmy whole set up today from CZP. My problem is , the back of all 4 calipers, looks like total **** !!! I am pretty sure they are not supposed to look like thie. I called COZ and tried to describe it, but he says thats how they come? They are all sanded and dull , the front part of the caliper is fine and shinny, the back part is seriously sanded and fadded. I am pretty sure they are supposed to look just like a duller silver, mine almost look greyish and have signs of wet sanding. I will have to post up some pictures. SOo far I have not seen any that look like mine.

If i understand you correctly, then yes, that's normal. Nobody sees the back of the calipers so it's a cost-cutting method to not finish them the same as the side facing out.
I painted mine altogether so i didn't care much about it at that time.

Ok so I went and looked at them now in the sunlight and I can clearly see they are just bare metal, its just looks like they were smoothed out on the edges. I was looking at them last night when it was dark with poor lighting in my garage. I am off to install these bad boys, wish me luck lol.

Everything is all installed and on. Took me and a friend about 5 hours to do all 4 brakes, and the rear adjustable toe bolts. The toe bolts took me almost 2 hours alone to dremel out, but it was defenetly worth it, soo much more adjustment now. My Asanti wheels ended up clearing the Akebono' s without any spacers, they fit over the calipers perfectly with abou 2- 3 mm clearance. I took some pictures while doing it, try to post some up later tonight. Really happy with the setup though, looks hot. The front Stainless brake lines gave us trouble, but nothing a little bit of modding couldnt fix lol. I swear everything is a pain on the X' s.

not using my stocks!! I have 20" Asanti wheels on it. MY stock 18" wheels would never fit over them, not without at least a 25mm spacer, I am not going to use my stock wheels anymore. also, have 2 sets of Ichiba 5mm spacers I can sell brand new, didnt need them.

They will not fit!!! I have 18x 7.5" wheels 45 offset, I dont even have to check, i know they dont fit, unless you use at least a 25mm spacer. the Akebono calipers in the front stick soo far out its crazy.
