HPS Silicone intake tubes installed...FINALLY
Ok so i was going to do a DIY for these so that people could have a reference on how to remove their stock intake, and then how to install one of these but i got so frustrated i didn't even want to deal with taking pictures I did get some pictures of my dirty throttle bodies before i cleaned them though. will post up later.
When all was said and done they looked great on the car. neither tube is marked left or right, so you kinda have to guess based on where the vacumm tube comes out. once you figure that out these tubes do require cutting to get a proper fit. i had to cut down the vacuum connection to make everything fit properly on both sides. the ends could use about a 1/4 of an inch trimming as well, but i didn't do that so there is some overhang on the air box but nothing noticeable.
All in all if the firmament was alot better i would recommend this for the 110 bucks i paid. if you dont mind doing some cutting its a good alternative to getting the z-tube effect on a second gen g35.
Sound is a bit different although with my exhaust hard to notice. possibly a bit throatier but not screaming like most full intake setups. i just have the K&N Drop ins.
I was going to try and take a finished pic but it was dark when i finished so i will try and get one soon.

just used a utility knife. take no more than a quarter of an inch of the end of each, and cut what is needed off the vent tube based on pre fitting. i did alot of pre fitting before i cut anything. you will most likely need to cut the vent tube almost all the way back on the driver side and about half an inch on passenger side.
