costco tires (lol), what would you choose out of these 3 (cheap) choices....
Subscribe...they are a gift to me and I know they are cheap/whatever but I will not be going through snow or anything, at most just wet roads. Launch the car occasionally but dont really hit hard turns or need performance tires. Need to know asap. Thank you for your time/input

I would go for the Primacy MXM4...

Both the primacy and the serenity are good tires, with the primacy being slightly better in tirerack testing.
shipping is like $100+?
and costco has a 5 year warranty if you ever hit a nail or it defects. If tirerack is cheaper please aware me

Michelin
And you CANNOT go wrong with costco. Their warranty and return policy is one of the best IMO

You have the $70 discount for Bridgestone tires right now. For the best deal, I'd go with the Bridgestones. For the best tire, I'd go for the Michelins.

True, but then you also have to add installation, warranty, nitrogen, and rotation costs to compare to Costco's price. Truth is, if Costco carries the tires you want, they're hard to beat on their "all-in" price.Originally Posted by Anton_Chigurh

OP: I agree with the choice of the Michelins. Are you aware that Costco has sales on Michelins every few months? It's normally like 60 or 70 off on a set of 4. If it's not going on now, then it's probably running on their Bridgestones and will be back as soon as that's over.

I would go with the Michelin. Imo I think they make the best tires out there. However they are some of the priciest tires out there. Bridgestones are very good but I would get the MXM4. I think though I want to try the Conti DWS when winter comes.

yeah just saw that, there is an "american tire" next to my costco which has the michelin $70 rebate going right now. They also price match costco and said they have a similar warranty (I have to read the fine print though), so I might be going with them as I can not wait a month. Anyone gone to american tire beforeOriginally Posted by vqsmile

also should I pay $5 per tire for the TPMS rebuild kit, or is that just a gimmick

thank you for all the input!

Ive had two sets of tires mounted on my car now since the original set and I've never had them rebuilt. It all comes down to how careful the shop is that does the work. If they go gorilla on it, they may indeed screw it up. Some shops don't trust their techs and just require that they be removed (and necessitating a "rebuild" kit) before they will install a new set of tires. The fact is, it CAN be done without touching the TPMS and necessitating the rebuild; it just requires that certain commodity called SKILL.Originally Posted by samsizzle
