Each cop is issued a certificate that states his or hers margin if error when determing speed and distance. Some cops can be can be either or 3mph or more making a huge difference. It all depends.

Read some reviews that said the Redline is better than the 9500 at detecting cops at highway speeds because it has a longer range.
For me, I like to know what direction the cop is coming from. I've had my V1 for about 8 years and have never upgraded it. I don't get false alarms like others have posted. V1 is definitely lagging behind in the technology department. It would be nice to have gps, etc.

No one is ever going to agree which is best b/c the other person thinks theirs is better. Buy both and see which works best for you.

just picked up an Escort 9500ix and today and also ordered the Invisicord.

found the 9500ix on local craigslist. he was asking $385 but i offered $300 cash and he accepted. no box or manual so i supposed it could be stolen.
