Anyone else have this problem? A whine coming from the compressor when it's on but then goes away when you turn it off. It changes as you raise the RPM. it also does a rapid clicking which goes away in a minute when you turn it off. I know this a known problem with these cars. Anyone know what it could be? I'm hoping it ain't the compressor going out. Its been blowing really cold air since when i got it which was a year ago. Any help?

 

I have this whiny noise coming from my AC as well. It's been there for couple of years now. I never thought much of it.. I just turn up the volume and it doesn't really bother me.

 

it's obviously been a while since the last post... I've got the same issue but it goes away as rpm's increase. AC is cold/hot the way it should be but yet to run into an issue.

 

I've had the same issue before. Never really noticed it until last year. Since others are noticing same thing, it could just be a quirk on the G's ??? Not sure since I'm not a mechanic or anything, but I did let my dealer know about it last year, they checked it out and didn't find anything wrong so......
