I need to replace the rear pads (for sure) and rotors (I think). The pads are worn out (32K miles) and the rotors have odd radial cracks in them that don't go out to the edge but concern me anyway.

Of course, the simplest route is OEM. However, if I wanted to upgrade the calipers, pads and rotors without breaking the bank, what would you suggest. I drive hard almost all the time, but I don't race or run the car on a track.

Is it possible to only upgrade the rear brakes and not the front on an X?
