Hi I've posted similar posts about this topic as others have also. I'm looking to buy a Magnaflow exhaust and I want anyone's opinion on how this system will sound and if I need to use all these parts or if I should leave something out or add anything in? Of course like so many others on here I'm looking for something more similar to the sound of the coupe (sporty and powerful) most cost effectively. If you think the Magnaflow is not the way to go please recommend something else close in price. Can I use my factory tips over on these Magnaflow mufflers? If so will it change the sound? Should I purchase different tips and if so what kind? I don't want to spend this money to have it sound anything remotely like the stock exhaust. Last does anyone have any idea how much this will run me in labor to have this system installed? I included the price quote I received for the Magnaflow parts which is the cheapest I have gotten so far. I'm looking to purchase an exhaust system on Monday so any advice and input before then would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

#10415 $57 each

#12225 $65 each

#11385 $80

Total $324 free shipped.

Looking for good info on building a good (coupe) sounding catback for 2007 G35x all wheel 4 door sedan.... What will sound good and fit easily a decent price? Magnaflow x-pipe? Magnaflow resonators? Magnaflow mufflers? Plesse post suggestions, pictures, videos, part #'s etc.... Thanks in advance...

I'm looking for advice.... I purchase a Magnaflow 11385 resonated x pipe and I need advice on where to have it installed? Should I have it installed where the stock resonators are or before that and in place of the stock Y pipe? Thanks for any advice or insight...

Installing an aftermarket exhaust will not make it sound like OEM it might be way diffrent, but still very good sounding, Putting your own tips on wont change the sound, they could probably be welded on. But I would keep all your OEM stuff intact so you can go back to stock

were exactly are you going to put

#10415?

For #11385 where you putting this? Its a muffler then you have another muffler listed?

If you are putting this to split the 2, get a magnaflow X pipe > Resonators > Street Series Mufflers

look at street series mufflers

http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/streetmufflers.asp

They have tips and are polished..ect

The 11385 is suppose to be the "x pipe." Some people cut where the Y pipe begins to where the the two resonators stop and remove the whole thing and fit this 11385 in its place. Supposedly is sounds better and you can keep your stock mufflers and tips.

Another option is to cut out and replace those two stock cylinder resonators with cylinder mufflers like 10415.

Third options is to cut the stock muffler and tips and replace with 12225 with new magnaflow tips.

You could also do option two with option three or do option one with option three. Either way this is suppose to produce a more aggressive sound but not spend all $$$ for a full exhaust system.

I hope that is confusing enough for you. I'm considering doing the same but not sure if or which makes a sound difference.

What other parts do you have on your exhaust? You have the x pipe on a G35x alll wheel drive sedan? Does it sound good? Better performance? Can you recommend a custom catback that will fit my 2007 Infiniti g35x sedan? Thanks!

Should I lower my 2007 G35x 1.25" front & rear with springs? Magnaflow x pipe install

Looking for any advice on lowering my 2007 g35x 1.25" all around front and rear. I live in NY and we get our fair share of snow. Will the rear end look saggy? Here's the link to the cheap generic springs I wanted to use.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Suspension-4pc-Lower-Lowering-Springs-Blue-Front-and-Rear-Infiniti-G35-03-04-08-/350685875876?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories &fits=Make%3AInfiniti&hash=item51a681cea4&vxp=m mtr . I also need advice on my exhaust. I purchased a Magna flow X pipe part # 11385 and I need to know where to install it and if I should purchase any other parts to improve the sound and eliminate drone? Thanks for any info on either topic!

Can you recommend any other exhaust components besides test pipes or hfc's because they seem to be out of my price range at this time. I have the Magnaflow x pipe part #11385 new in the box at my house and I was wondering if I should order anything else before I have this installed. Thanks!

I would begin with this
https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...uspension.html

EDIT:
Also - Components I would not consider being cheap just to save a buck: suspension parts, brakes, wheels and tires.
