I would test it, but I guess I'm too lazy/worried to park it unlocked, walk far away and leave my key somewhere, and then walk back to see if it locked itself.
Does the G35 lock itself when you walk away? Or do you have to pull the key fob from your pocket and press "lock?"
Just curious.
Thanks.
Later.

If your outside the car when its locked, and you press unlock button on the key but don't open the doors, it will re lock itself after a minute or two

Press the button on the door handle lol. After having the smart key then going back to a normal car, you really appreciate how much less of a hassle it really is, trying to open doors with your hands full etc.Originally Posted by Sprockethead
I kind of wish you never had to pull the fob out, though.
So you can get out of the car and just press the button on the door handle to lock it? That way you never have to take the fob out of your pocket?

yes lol what do you think those buttons are for. Same for when the car is locked, press it once to unlock the driver door and twice to unlock all of them.Originally Posted by Sprockethead

^ yes, the ikey is made so you never have to take the key out of your pocket, you unlock and lock your car by just pressing the tiny black button on the handles as long as the key is in close proximity.Originally Posted by Sprockethead
