starter button...

Correct me if I am wrong here, but the manual states that to turn the car off, but to keep the radio on, hit the starter button twice so it goes from ON to ACC directly right? Well what happens if u hit it 3 times while ur parked by accident??

I ask because it seemed like it went from ON directly to ON again, but the engine turned back on too... while all the dash lights stayed lit. I thought in order for the engine to turn on you have to have your foot on the brake while hitting ON???????? Anyone ever run into this?

It seems like you can try this by pushing the button 3x. I only need to push it twice if i want to listen to the radio. No reason to push it 3x unless it can do a cool trick

It's a computer. No harm done. If the computer had a brain it would wonder WTH your doing.

I thought you push 3 times to turn off the engine... Or was it holding down the Start that turned off....

If you don't want the car to restart, then simply take your foot off the brake pedal (or clutch) and the interlock will prevent the restart and leave you in ACC mode.

On a side note, something I've noticed is that I can continue a bluetooth call after I shut the engine off, but it won't maintain the call through an engine restart no matter what I do.

If you push it 3 times while the car is running it will come on with all dash lights on, if your foot is on the brak/clutch and you push 3 time it will shut down and restart. Just to keep the radio on, the 2 pushes have to be quick without a pause or you'll just end up shutting it off without radio.
