a quick google image search showed me how thin those tires really are... but what other option do i have if I want to run 20's and retain the original diameter for my speedo? waht are other second gen sedans on 20's running?

Yeah that's true lol all the roads around here are have all been repaved within the last 2-3 years but when I bring my car down to school it's like hell lol

You're right, you are fairly limited when you run 20's (one of the advantages of 19's), but even more so when you go with a wider tire. Maybe you could consider going a bit narrower to get the profile up a bit; something like: 235/40 in front and 265/35 in the rear maybe? That's not a lot narrower, but it gets you up to a 35 at least. To get the rear up into a 40, you'd practically have to come clear down to a 245 (at which point, it's like why bother).
