front right bearing replaced

Has anyone else had bearings fail? I'm a bit surprised this happened on a car only approaching 4 years of age. I've seen this before on my other cars but they were significantly older.

this usually happens if you have come in contact with a curb at some point, or the bearing has been submersed in water for an extended period of time. its not a normal occurrence.

Yep, that's what I was thinking. There were an awful lot of cars that saw some flooding throughout the US over the last couple years; weather has been whack everywhere.

Not the case for me in any event. I'm up in Montreal and having been submersed in anything but snow until recently.

The car was purchased from someone. I guess they could have hit some curbage.

Good to know most aren't experiencing this. When I asked the tech who road tested with me, he said "oh you know, they can go quick or slow, anytime really". It was suuuuuch a vague answer I couldn't tell if it was a typical G problem or not.

Sounds like not..

^ nah its not as typical on the G as it is on the old FXs which is said to be due to hard cornering with so much weight...
