Radio locks up

Has anyone ever had an issue with the radio freezing when they start the car? I had this problem a few months ago then it eventually rebooted and has been working fine. I got to work last night shut the car off and walked away. When I came back to leave I started the car my climate control was off, radio was sitting on what looked like the ipod or status page with nothing there. No backup camera or any buttons would work. About 15 min later it started to work. I'm sitting at Infiniti right now getting my sunroof looked at and had them look at this too. Thanks in advance for the responses.

iv seen a couple ppl complain about this on here but it would be hard to 'replicate' in front of the dealer if it doesnt occur all the time, i think it ended up being a bad Headunit

mine does it too...like the radio will freeze and no buttons on it will work but my steering wheel controls still work. then after a minute or two it will reboot while im driving and then itll be fine for a few days...

also dunno if these problems go hand in hand but every once in a while recently my car will turn the AC on full blast while im driving and it will lock the controls...restarting the car usually doesnt do anything...after about 5 minutes i will be able to turn it off though, but i cant imagine how bad that would be if it happened on track days i think

I got my car back from the dealer and he told me that there was a software update to fix this issue. Havent had any problems but just got it back so it could be a few months. You could try to see if it could be covered under warrenty if its causing to mush issue.
