I bought a 2008 G35x with 29K a few months back, and upon reading all these threads, I noticed that the car had chipping paint on the door handles, nothing thankfully on the steering wheel, it had very noticeable peeling on the dash behind the steering wheel, and also, the seal around the moonroof showed light cracking.

Brought the car to Ray Catena Infiniti in Edison, and these guys did an excellent job replacing everything that had to be fixed, all under warranty, no questions asked. I'll post pictures tomorrow, but the service's been awesome, and the car looks new. One thing I asked them - which was not covered - was the wear on the driver's seat, and the noticeable creases on the leather. They said that was normal wear, and that's fine.

Love the car, first Infiniti, and certainly not the last. This forum's been quite informative.

Absolutely. The dash was seriously coming apart and peeling on both left and right sides behind the steering wheel. I brought up the issue to my service advisor, and a sandwich and an hour later, it was done, washed, wrapped up and ready to go!

I had really bad leather seats, the guy who owned the car previously really messed it up, and the foam in the seat was crushed and the leather around their was really wrinkled and creased and the dealership replaced it, but it was really really bad.
