The real question is, what is the average age/gender of the second-gen G driver who also posts on a forum. I'm guessing that when you take the 2 into consideration together, you're not getting an accurate representation of the actual age of drivers.

Also, a lot of people just buy a car and never mod, never really learn about it online, etc.

Anyway, what are you kids doing to pay for a $30K car at age 21? Slinging crack?
Just turned 28, bought when I was 27. I agree that many older G drivers are not on forums, etc so this isn't a very accurate representation of actual age. The other thing to consider is this car is no longer in the $30k range. Some guys are buying used w/ high miles in the $15-16k range which is affordable for a college student.

I agree. There are not tons of second gen G's where I live, but of all the ones I see, I appear to be the youngest at 28.

I live in a college town where most kids don't have much money, and the ones that do, get it from mom and dad(and are driving big ol trucks or audi/bmw). There are college grads working factory and fast food jobs here, so if you are 20 and driving a car like this in my town, mommy and daddy are loaded.

My car was 26k. I had an 05 G Sedan before that I put towards it and financed around 13k. With Infinitis excellent 1.9% financing, the payments were easy and the decision was a no brainer.

I work two jobs and sell my soul. Thats how I pay for this bish.

I'm 29. I got the G as part of a deal with my wife to quit smoking. It's been 2 months, I really want a cigarette but I like my G (and my wife more).

Now instead of her yelling at me for buying cigarettes, she yells at me for sinking $50 to change out the interior lights to LEDs.
