Talk about lucky..95% of parents that i know of my friends would never get a car like this for their kid..but you are from cali so i bet it's a bit different out there than here on east coast.

Hell if i was 20 and my parents were willing to get me a car like this i would take it...but after getting a tad bit older..i just couldn't do it..but to each their own!
no different out here in cali! im just really lucky!

Mid 30's. I have an 09 G37 sedan. Been modding cars ever since I was 17. I think even when im older I'll still be modifying cars. I'll be one of those 70yr olds with a modded Mercedes or whatever.

negative! im 22 and I pay for everything! the only thing they help me on is that im under their insurance plan but i still pay the monthly for my car, about $150.

i dont think I would feel right having a job and making OK money and having my parents pay for my whip...

This is where, as a parent, I see it much different than you. You are on your parents policy to keep your monthly cost much lower than if you were 'on your own'. In effect they are paying to keep your rate lower. That's fine. I'll do it for my kids too.
Also, I don't know if this is different in the USA but here you have to be living with your parents to be on there insurance policy.
Again, it doesn't bother me that young adults have nice cars but I think sometimes they fail to recognize when they are still being helped out financially and not really as on their own as they may think.

Yeah, I like the line: "I'm growing older, NOT up."

i dont think there is anything wrong with having ur parents buy u a car! i know when i have kids im gonna live my life for them! that doesnt mean they are gonna be little ungrateful ***** cause they get everything they want! and if they are i will make em realize what they have!
