lol nah the Boxter is nothing compared to a 911 turbo

I'll keep this G I think till its paid off and most likely just keep saving after that for another car, GTR obviously would be an awesome choice for a car but its wayyy outta my price range lol.

You said it dude! Totally agree. Since 25 when I bought it, Lately every car to me is $hit if it's less than 300HP. The bar is definitely raised now and I'm already bored with the power the G has to offer.

Buying this car just screwed me for future purchases, as the GTR is the step up for me from the G. I figure maybe a coupe or 370Z will mostlikely be the next purchase, I'm not quite at GTR status just yet

I am gonna run this car into the 100k range, and then when I am more financial stable, i'd like to get a C63 AMG sedan.

Meh, I'm definitely over the median age of G owners that live on the forums. I'm 34, long time Nissan driver but first time Infiniti, and my 07X is a lot more fun than the 99 Altima I was driving! Also the first car I've ever modded. Lots of fun so far.

Insurance is $100 a month for my 07X AND my wife's 08 Armada LE.. and that was after my Jetta was totaled 2 years ago.

Now instead of her yelling at me for buying cigarettes, she yells at me for sinking $50 to change out the interior lights to LEDs.
LOL. Wait till she yells at you for buying sways and springs.

Several other G35X/G37X on my street and nearby, as I live on a mountain with 7 months of snow. A lot more Audi's than Infinitis though. 75% of the cars people drive here are AWD/4WD.

Totally agree! I think I could "stoop" to buy a 350hp AWD G coupe in the future when they bring that down from the IPL... but if they don't come out with that soon I might go with a 335xi down the road.

I can also see a time (soon) when they bring the 360hp, 3.5-L V6 Hybrid M engine to the G line-up. Imagine, 38mpg City driving and 0-60 in ~5 seconds when you get the urge.

I am an old guy here at 42. For the past 8 years I have had a company car and no need for my own personal car. Every time I have bought a toy car it has always been a 2 door; Nissan 300Z turbos (had 3), Buick Grand National, Corvettes (had 5).

I hope my G works for me the way I plan. Plan on using it well over 150k and using it as my daily commuter/work car.

I don't feel old. Actually feel like I am in my 20's, but chronologically I am much older than most of you. I dig your dad's style.
