Are G37 seats the same as G35 seats?

Are G37 seats the same as G35 seats?
I'm sure you all follow my riveting posts daily....I've been struggling with how uncomfortable the seats are in my G35 sport.
I've had them repacked and only saw minor improvement. My car is in the shop today for the bluetooth mic, and I rec'd a G37 loaner.
Seats are way more comfortable...you can squeeze the bolsters where you can't move much foam in my car before you hit metal.
Have been looking into buying seats out of a non sport and was curious if the experience I've had today is what I'd expect if I got non sport G35 seats.

Like i said in one of your other threads i really like my S seats and drive almost 3+ hours a day commuting in my MT and have no problems, i dont notice the seat which means i have no problems with it, i have the side bolster on a little more than the lowest setting and no issues here. I am 6'2" and about 175ish i reckon. The loaner's seats were very 'flat' on the sides compared to S and judging by your complaints thats what youre looking for imo. Majority of ppl would be willing to trade their regular seats for your sports seats in a jiffy!

OP, if you have an S and your loaner was a Journey then that could be one reason for the difference.
But i'm with kool here, the Sport seats are great for what they are, and i'm on the road the same as him. I've had my fair share of rentals and loaners, some feel comfy off the bat but can get very tiresome after a long drive mainly from lack of support. With the Sport seats, i feel that the support is spread around a much larger surface area, which helps with long-term fatigue to any single point of contact.

I can't tell if its the harder padding or the fact that there is only a thin layer between the metal brackets and my legs.
Is the only difference between sport and standard seats the brackets on the thighs and the adjustable bladders?

Really struggling to figure out why I'm so uncomfortable in these seats. They kill my thighs after 20 minutes, and I take several five hour trips a month.

I noticed a big difference in the lower back support. Both have lumbar adjustment (power in the X and manual in the S) but seems to be at 2 different heights. It feels like a different spot against my back so requires a different amount of support.
I find the sport seat to be very comfortable although I'll admit it took a few weeks of getting used to it. FWIW - I'm not a skinny man @ 5'11" 205lbs.
If you can feel bars through the padding then something else is wrong. The padding on mine is firm but also thick enough that nothing is felt under it.

I like the manual a little more anyway. It's much quicker to adjust. It's with the right hand now instead of trying to squeeze the left hand down between the seat and door. Just need to get a little 'turkey wing' right arm contorting to do it
Edit - added a couple pics

...really should try both before you decide Then again, it really doesn't matter...how often do we adjust it anyway? Me...not to often.
