Question Custom LED Daytime Running Lights aka DRLs for G35/37 sedan what you think??

I've been looking around for daytime running lights to buy and found this custom looking DRLs for the 07-08 sedan models on Ebay sold by a Korean seller
I showed pictures to my local shop mechanic and asked how much it'd cost to install them, they said it'd take bout an hour or little more and will charge about $45/hour so it'll be about total of $300 or little more if i get a mechanic to install it. I think it's def worth money for the looks and quality. They looks pretty "sick" to me and they don't seem like those cheap chinese ones that aren't even bright. what do you think about them????

So I assume you have a journey, cuz this will only work on journey bumpers. TBH I think led drls only look good on audi's.

That's probably the "nicest" solution I've seen yet, but they'll look out of place in our car.

Don't do it IMO.

This would get rid of those fugly plastic faux vents below on our Journey bumpers.

I'd order a set if I didnt have the ICC unit (that I never use!). I'm scared that detaching the ICC unit would cause a warning light on the dash.

and OP, if you're going to buy on EBAY, make sure you contact that seller. If you look in the history of that product, he sold a set for $99.00. And now the price is $199.00

I saw before they had the shipping cost for 150 and 170 while now it's 50 and 70.So the price didn't change
BTW i asked my Korean friend before to see how much they are in Korea and he found out that they are being sold for $230
Would icc unit cause warning light to come on???

This would look better if you have a front lip... without it, it looks like something is missing. However the color changing is a cool idea. Every car these days has the led's even frkn Kia's lol!

Those look way better than other LED DRLs I've seen. Still don't care for LED DRLs that much (outside of Audi's), but if you like them go for it!

those look pretty nice, i like that they actually made a housing for them to blend them w/the bumper a bit.

A front lip would add some flair plus these are not riced out and look somewhat respectable. The LED color change would be necessary to set your car apart form every new car that has DRLs.

A while ago, I wanted to replace my Journey bumper with a Sports bumper and delete the ICC unit. I was told by dealership that it would cause problems with computer system and most likely throw up a warning light.

If there is a way around it, I'd try out these lights ASAP.

They look pretty good. I bought a relay and turned my fogs into DRLs. It wasn't expensive (~$20), just took some time. Saved a $1 a month on my insurance for having DRLs!

I love the instructions...

"Get rid of the original lower valance, they should come off with a bit of heating and force."

Anything comes off with enough heat and enough force. LOL
