It sounds like a supercharger...but i don't have a supercharger

Well, its started happening almost a week ago. I was driving with my windows down and music going, when I started to hear this whine around me. Its almost like a whine on a twinscrew supercharger. My friends think its great, however I don't cause I KNOW i don't have a super charger (been saving for the new TT by GTM ) and i know it shouldn't be making that noise. My oil is fine, belts have been replaces not even 10k more like 4k. When the whinning starts it begins to shift really badly through gears like its dropping it into gear. Im not sure if the batterys going and making the alternator work harder than it has to, or if there is something else. I know when my dad BMW's alternator went, it started dropping into gear and limping into safe mode. I have read around and seen people saying its battery, transmission, oil, alternator and electric fan. I have yet to find an answer on what the verdict is on this . Does anyone else have this problem before??? Im scared to drive my G and its my only car. Its a 2007 G35x and I have around 72xxx on it.

Anybody have knowledge/ ideas about this???

It is coming from the engine bay, I can't place if it is in the front of the engine or behind the engine, the noise of my intakes plus the sound makes it impossible to exactly place

To give a quick update, the whine has gotten louder and worse. My gear shifts are really bad, the car bucks into gear ( its a f****** automatic) and its going in at 5 this afternoon when i get outta class.

should had been changed 4k ago like i was told from the service rep...but then again you never know if these guys have done it or just said they have and charged you for it. I would do it all myself but i don't have a lift in my garage and this thing isn't high off the ground for me to even shimmy in there

Oh i know you don't! haha im just saying I would much rather do it myself so I know what has been done and if it was done right. I used to have faith in my Infiniti dealer but they are really starting to F*** me on things lately, like i have read from other people with other dealerships
