oh and they still haven't told me what that sound was coming from

 

Sorry to hear the bad news.. How many miles on the car? Have you tried calling corporate?

Why not try a different dealership? What kind of proof do they have that you drove it hard? How bad is the whine? Is it that noticeable? Just trade it in and don't bother replacing the tranny if the dealer themselves don't know where the whine is coming from. Get a second opinion.

The car is 1000 miles out the warrenty for the transmission. We talked to infiniti international and they are saying it is because of user abuse said from Holman Infiniti from their computer scan. However, they scanned right before the transmission blew. I haven't had my car for almost 3 weeks now. So I haven't been driving it. They are giving me **** for my CATS which are almost out of warrenty and won't change them. The problems with my mom truck and so forth. I found a transmission for 2 grand with less than 40,000 miles where infiniti was gonna charge me 6500 for one with over 60,000 miles on it. Im taking it to a family friend garage and doing the rest of my work I have from their garage. There is no real dealership near us other than holman. I don't know if I wanna keep this car anymore. Its been problem after problem

 

Ok so, the dealer wanted me to pay 6500 for a tranny with 60,000 miles on it. I laughed in their faces. Im installing the transmission myself at my family friends garage with 20,000 miles on it for 2000. They wanted to do it at the dealer. I told them, look the only thing im gonna come for is the warrenty on the CAT other than that, you guys have lost my business, and my families business. Then i got a call from infiniti's circle of care or w.e asking how everything was. I told them take me off your calling list and unlist me from your care. They were trying to ask why and the women on the phone seemed shocked that I wanted to be off. I summed it up, pretty much you guys screwed me over, Ive talked to infiniti international or w.e for two weeks only for them not to replace my tranny 1000 miles over warrenty! and they were blaming the break down on me, which is kinda funny seeing how i drove the car in there myself. She said she would call me back sometime seeing what they could do imrpove my view on Infiniti. I told her, call me back with a check reimbursing the transmission, and the waterlogged fogged headlights on my moms truck that infiniti won't cover, even though there has been nothing done to it, otherwise don't bother calling back.

 

Tranny installed and a new battery put in. Thing rides like it just came out of the showroom. The supercharger noise was from the alternator trying to charge the battery becasue infiniti's battery suck ***. It was replaced 4 months ago. But i went with a yellow top. I don't think im gonna sell this car, i love it again and i dearly missed it. However, be very wary about taking your G to infiniti. Take it to someone you trust and know they will do a full check on. My garage managed to install the transmission that morning it came in. So now.....what should i start modding next
