Life calls and it is time to get rid of my car.

I've looked in KBB and don't see a listing for the "s" and I also have what I think are abnormally high miles.

So, what do you all think I could sell my 2008 Silver G35xS with 73,200 miles, with 2k miles on the tires, fresh pads in the front and very clean all around? It has all the options but Nav and the camera. Its a very clean, well kept car...all highway miles.

How is the paint? Any dents? scratches? What options does it have? Pictures? All that helps. Also, depends where you live.

 

There is 1 tiny little ding on the passenger door.

I had the front bumper cover repainted about 10k ago, due do the highway chips and such.

 

I don't know either,,, but i'd sure like to have the sport seats......

 

Just my 2 cents from recent observations...

I would guess $17k low and $22ish high. I snagged an 07 X with nav, 55k miles, for $17k 6 months ago. I have been seeing 08s in the low $20k range with nav and around 48k miles. Trade in to a dealer... You don't want to know(Ex new car Sales manager here). Probably offered $14k to $15k.

I got $12.5k for my 04 G35x trade-in just this past June. It even had frame damage.

I think $17k is a low for an xS, even with your miles. There aren't tons of them out there.

 

Yes, I agree 17 is low, but a ton of these(G's) have been coming off lease so that is what you are uip against. And please don't confuse with "offered" and "gotten" by a dealer Dealers don't use the nada book for trade ins. We used the black book(auction average). But remember, you can't get an answer if you don't ask the question(my philosophy). Stick it up on Ebay local. It is free(6 cars a year). Start at $24 or so and put in OBO and see what happens. If you feel it is worth more you should ask more, but check what the others are selling for. keep in mind the $2500 nav package only adds around $500ish to the used price, so i am not sure what the sports package would add.

Your car does look great in the picture. We all know 70k is just getting broken in on our cars, but non G owners may be a little more concern. If you have gotten all the service and if you have gotten new tires, make sure to list that.

 

I just got my 08X with very low miles for 24k and most here thought it was good but not great for a price. Still after owning a couple months I don't see prices any better out there so I "feel" I did well. With that being said on a private sale, I am guessing $17-$20k providing all maint. is up to date and no real repairs are needed.

 

I just paid 25k for my 2008xS about a month ago. It had 38k miles, came with NAV, tinted windows, dvd players in back of the headrests. Car is in mint condition too. Not sure if I got a great deal or not but Im guessing you could get close to 20K for yours.
