With winter tires on, I can likely maneuver to avoid your driving mishaps due to you having the wrong type of tires on your car. That's just my opinion though.
We all could be better and SAFER drivers. I just got my car back this morning from an accident which happened late October. I still often think about how I lost control of the vehicle and caused a ton of damage to it. I never broke anything or got in trouble as a youth. I guess I'm making up for it in my early 30's Anyway, I suggest everyone take steps to be a little bit safer out there including having the proper vehicle setup for expected conditions.

Actually, when I said that I meant even with snow tires I'm still concerned about others hitting me. I got it set up with a bunch of weight in the trunk and good snow tires and finally became confident with the G in the snow and then I realized I still felt very much on edge driving with other cars sliding all over the place and numerous close calls unrelated to me losing traction.....hence the G now sits in the garage during snow and the beater comes out for justification 1 of 3 (the other 2 being utility vehicle and gas saver). Plus I didnt really like using my front bumper as a snow plow.

But yeah, snow tires are a must if you dont have an X. I found it quite gratifying to have the rwd G set-up to handle snow when everyone else was in SUVs and pick-ups and it was obvious many of them were white knuckling it.
