Today I was driving in to work and my "Service Engine" light came on out of the blue. I have 78,800 miles on it and not sure why it would have come on. Anyone have any ideas on what I should do or if I should just try and manually turn it off by undoing the battery cables and then hooking them up?

recommend you read the code that it is giving, and do more research on what it might be related to

yeah not to be a pain , but there is a reason why the code is coming up... take it to an autoparts store and have them check see what the issue is... more then likely an 02 sensor. Don't ignore it.

It may be as simple as a loose gas cap, but you should always have the code read BEFORE you just go and reset it!Originally Posted by rahulpatel
