New G owner

What's up everyone, I've recently purchased a 08 g35 sedan black with the premium package and I'm very happy with it so far. I've made the switch from my 05 pearl white STI and definitely wanted to keep the AWD but wanted something more luxurious. I plan on making "some" mods. Next week the windows are going 20% and the Stillen Gen 3 is going on. Still trying to decide on an exhaust.. I'm in the DC metro and I'm looking forward to being apart of the G community.

I like it. I'm just looking forward to opening this motor up. It definitely has a lot of potential. Only problem I have is a slight vibration when braking at low speeds. Already took it back to the dealer once but it still seems to be doing it... Every heard of this problem?

The vibration can even be felt in the shifter..

Welcome and congrats on the car.

Brake judder is always a possibility in these cars, so look for that.

AS far as "opening this motor up", I hope you actually have either modest expectations or very deep pockets. Pretty much all the easy hp has been tapped by the manufacturer already. There's some available, but the truth is that it is relatively small and quite expensive for what you net.

Welcome aboard! It seems like you're getting busy already with your new car. I am sure you will love your experience with the G. It does have some little flaws here and there. Brake judder issue being one of them but there is a TSB and your dealer should be able to take care of that for you w/o any issues. Overall, the 08 sedan is a mechanically sound car. I've dialed in 59k on my 08 sedan and have yet had any mechanical issues with the car. *knock on wood*

Anyway, hope you enjoy your new ride and happy moddin'!

Welcome! Check out fast intentions nvidia and stillen for exhausts. If you have an x then Ark makes one special for it.

Fast Intention also has an AWD version of their exhaust. I am currently running the AWD version on my RWD b/c I bought mine used. IMO FI > ARK.
