To me it sounds like the noise is coming from the bottom of the car, on the right side if I am facing it from the front

Honestly, the OPs vid reminds me of my drivetrain chatter on the 6MT.

At the dealership now... I had the mechanic under the car while I revved... it turned out to be a bad catalytic converter.

Wtf? I had my noisey compressor replaced 3 times, now a compressor gone bad... what's with Infiniti? My old maxima never had any issues like this!!

Did you get the compressor changed at the same dealer each time, maybe they don't have enough experience with the AC. There must be something else wrong that is causing it to fail.

Its not that it failed outright, but it was just ridiculously loud.... next time ill try another dealership but then again, many others complained of loud ac aa well.....

As for the catalytic converter......wtf?!?

Got the ride back... the cat had a lose honey comb and was replaced. The dealer said that it wasn't clogged or anything, so it just seemed like the cat it self was defective and the honey comb came off the weld.

I think my cat may be going too and im at 60,000 miles. Did they cover yours? mine is an 2007 G35S
