LCD Display Very Dim
Hi guys,
So I've recently been noticing that my LCD display is extremely dim. For example, during the day, I can hardly even see it if I can at all. When I searched for this, I found a thread talking about how cold temperatures can often cause something like this, but I live in Southern California, it really doesn't get that cold. I also turned up the brightness via the settings menu and still no go.
Any ideas? I can hardly even see it in the mornings when it is still mildly dark.

LCD screens don't have user replaceable bulbs. They are usually built into the screens.
That said, make sure you guys have the brightness up. The button is right there, the "Moon" button

I had a similar issue earlier this year. A few mornings in a row, my screen was too dim to see. I was able to see it when toggling the day/night dimming button, but, of course, I didn't want to have to manually hit that every morning and evening.
It appeared that the light sensor that determines if the headlights should be on thought it was dark so it went into night mode even with it being pretty bright in the morning. Turning off my headlights brought the screen brightness back up.
I do drive away from the sun in the morning, so maybe the shadow was enough to trick the sensor. The issue only lasted a few days for me before returning to normal behavior.

BACKLIT is the key word I used. These screens have bulbs behind them
Again not saying that's the problem here, but since no one has clarified WHICH screen it is, or posted a picture................
