I hope they find out what's going on. I am glad the same is not going on with my car because my crappy dealer has already told me they will refuse to diagnose any electrical problems because they saw that I had an aftermarket powered subwoofer in my car!

That's Illegal.

Educate your dealer on the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnuso...s_Warranty_Act

http://blog.blackdogspeedshop.com/20...your-warranty/

On my Last Car (Acura CL) the rear defroster stopped working. Took it in, saw my rear window was tinted and "tried" blaming the tint.

When I advised them on the above act, miraculously they found the problem and it had nothing to do with the tint at all. Don't let them walk over you with that BS. They have to PROVE your modification caused the problem. Burden of proof is on them basically.

I vaguely remember hearing something about a bad EVAP vent control solenoid causing parasitic drain such as this. This could have been an Altima or Maxima problem, but whatever it was Nissan issued a TSB or recall for the fix. I dunno....shot in the dark.....

The Evap control solenoid was part of the G37 coupe battery drain. I don't think there is a battery drain tsb for the sedan. That said, many of us had dead batteries prematurely. I had two OE batteries replaced in the first year and my woes didn't go away until I got an aftermarket battery. But just in case, I did order and install the new part# Evap solenoid. There is a TSB for the solenoid but not for power drain. Of course, this is when my dealer saw my powered sub and wouldn't even listen to my complaints about power drain.

GL w/ the issue. Hopefully they can diagnose the problem and address it asap since you are still under your factory warranty. Sorry but couldn't help to wonder, but what "new goodies" did you get for the G?

I went with AutokitsX but I was going to go with BTA but they are out of stock and have to redesign the diffuser for better fitment with no ETA. I had the Access Limited diffuser ready to go thanks to a buddy in Japan, but the final price after shipping ended up being $1600.

springs probably wont go on until Spring. I need to get my wheels powdercoated still and need new tires. I will do all of that in the Spring.

That's actually a pretty good price for the EXS diffuser. I got pricing on those too b/c I wanted the authentic JDM piece but it was $2,200 shipped after freight/duty and all that bs. I wanted it badly but I just can't justify paying for $2k on an add-on piece. I will have to settle for the AKX for now. How much did you pay for the AKX cf one btw?

Just a note for you folks running keyhole covers. When the battery dies normally, there is still enough power in it to operate the door lock solenoids EVEN THOUGH the motor can't be turned over.

Just something to keep in mind as 2007 factory installed batteries should be dying about now.

The OP most likely has some sort of abnormal current draw, or a short some where.
