replacing an LED tail light?

Hi Everyone Im new the the board. Bought a G35s 6mt about 2 months ago. Love it, fun to drive but still luxury. Ive been lurking around since then reading and learning about my car. There is a lot of good info here, i like it. Well last night i noticed an LED light out on the right tail light. So i did some searching for replacing it but couldnt find anything. I couldnt even find anything on a replacement LED bulb on the net. Is this something that cant be done and has to be taken to the dealer? I dont have a dealer very close by and dont want to waste a saturday or sunday going there. Anyone know if you can replace it yourself?
Thanks

unless you remove it my soldering yourself, stealership only sells the whole unit with all the bulbs on it for an arm and a leg

Gonna have to buy the whole thing. I bought one online for about $130

The bulbs themselves are not replaceable

If you are still under warranty, it should be repaired free

what a bust, $130 for one burnt out LED. Would you guys change it for one being out? also im surprised it would be replaced under warranty, isnt a light a wear and tear part? I have $50k miles on my car so im out of warranty but have an extended warranty but i dont think its worth the hassle of leaving the car at the dealership, having a claims guy come out look and authorized the work for a light plus i have a $100 deductible i think. Are LED lights not supposed to go out fast?

^ like they all said whole light needs replacing but they hardly go out through the life of the car and if they do first go to the dealer, on friends 05 G coupe the dealer told him this hardly ever happens and replaced it for free even though he was way out of his warranty, but of course they dont have to in which case finding a used one is the option

thanks guys! Yeah am looking at the link to the OEM one but am looking at other used OEM ones as well. Mine are pretty much immaculate and i dont want a beat one across from a nice one. Such a hard decision...

That was the same feeling I had when I replaced mine, so I decided to bite the bullet and just purchased a brand new one

If the one from ebay is a bit beat, you can always polish the plastic up if anything
