Need help choosing springs please!

Hi All,

This is my first post! I've been browsing the forums quite a bit however. Anyhow, I have done a number of mods to my 07 Sedan and I really want to lower my ride now (hate how it looks a bit lopsided). It is sitting on 19" rims, which will be something to consider. I have never bought springs and don't know too much about them. My goal is get a decent drop with minimal ride quality impact. I wanted some feedback on which springs would be recommended for my case. As I mentioned, I'm not very knowledgeable about springs but I have eyed the Tanabe NF210 and Eibach Prokits.

I have included some pictures to see get feedback! Always open to new mod suggestions as well, thanks yall

PS. Trying to paint the (the mesh type thing) on the lower part of the bumper.. has anyone done this?

I have Tein H tech and love them. ride quality is pretty much the same if not the same and the drop is perfect IMO. good luck and tight ride!

Your car's looking real nice for sure. Here's a great link w/ many spring/coilover combos, just click on the attachment & follow terrys instructions. I run B&G S2 springs on mine and love the drop & the ride. you can PM me w/ more info if you'd like, the place I got them from is excellent & the price is nice too

I'm out of forum, but I'll post here because it's well known.

If you drop significantly (IMO .75in or more), you'd be better off with shocks and springs at the same time. You will blow the stock shocks sooner with lowering springs.

How much sooner depends... but it will happen.

Any idea how low you can lower the car on the stock socks? are the Sport Sedan shocks similar in height to the 370z/G37S coupe shocks?

the question is not how low can u go because u can go as low as u want.
the question then becomes how long will the stock shocks last before blowing at x height which is subjective and up to how they have been taken care of before the car was lowered. Mild drop is best on stock shocks.

I have a 08 g35 sedan and want to drop with springs but don't want to have to buy and install after market camber kits so which springs will drop you moderately with out having to use camber kits???

Help would be great

Kits w/ smaller drops would be Eibach, Tannabe, and I hear the swift springs for the G35X also has a small drop. You can usually get by w/ your stock arms, you might need a new rear toe bolt kit.

I think I'd still get front arms though, they are a bit pricy but have a much wider range of adjustment including caster. You can always get the springs w/ the smaller drops, get your alignment and if you're not happy w/ it then pony up for the arms, pretty simple DIY on those IME.
