I don't know if you can just replace the bearing. The DIY showed the guy replacing the whole wheel hub assembly. Did you notice that the whole assembly looked new after he did it? It was rusty before and now the whole thing is clean and not rusted. When the dealer fixed my car, they said there's no way to just replace the bearing. The whole wheel hub assembly would have to be replaced. Everything comes together as one.
From the OP of that DIY:
No. Unfortunately it's not a wheel bearing and races that can be punched out. Lubed and pressed back in.
This is an entire wheel hub assembly. Not sure of the cost. I got mine at the stealership. There are some after-market ones too. It is self-contained and pre-lubed but it can be a real pain to DIY or very expensive to have the garage do this....
My goal was to document my lessons learned for the rest of us here...

So I got the hub from advanced auto. Got home, it was the wrong one... For the 2wd. Returned it, advance auto didn't have the one for the x.
Called up AutoZone and they had one but it was 45 min away.
Drove to it, got it, it looked right. Got home took the car apart ( 22 min very easy job )
It ended up being the wrong part, axle splines don't fit... So I've got the car in pieces and no part to put in.
And yes the bearing is bad you can hear and feel it when rotated in my hand.
Anyone have a part number and a store I can go for the correct part

I never break hard, so ill try that, or I did notice it gets louder when I turn hard to the left. Good idea. Maybe ill check the bearing, any quick way to do that? And can I just replace the bearing, or do I have to do the entire spindle? Havnt had any problems with the car so havnt had to take anything apart
